Promoting Moderate Political Beliefs

The Left vs. the Right. Conservatives vs. Liberals. The country hasn’t been this divided since the Civil War. This strictly divided mentality helps no one. We must accept that there are both good and bad ideas on both sides of the aisle. That is what moderate political beliefs are all about. No one party is 100% correct, nor is one party completely wrong.

The truth is there is no “we” and “they”--there is only room for an “US” in this country. Yes, US, as in United States--we need to be united once again. If we want to see our country move forward and enjoy progress, equality, and the respect from other countries around the world that we once enjoyed, then we must come together and work for the benefit of all of our citizens--not just a particular party or group of people. When you choose to align yourself with moderate political beliefs, you are saying that you respect the opinions expressed by those on both sides of an issue. You are willing to listen, consider, and then express an opinion that embraces the best of both the conservative and liberal views without extremism.
