It’s the tail end of the Biden Administration, and the 2024 Election is up and coming in November. Biden has dropped out and endorsed/appointed his Vice President, Kamala Harris, as the head of the Democratic ticket who is running against Republican, former President Trump, in a tight race. Both sides are so polarized, that each hates the other to the degree that they won’t speak to or associate with one another. Many family and friend relationships have been torn.
Even though today we have access to more information than ever before, our disagreements have become uncompromising and outrageous.
One of the Newest Organizations for Moderate Politics
In today’s world of political extremism, it’s difficult to connect with a political philosophy that fully aligns with your values, beliefs, and hopes for the country. Although we have easier access to information than ever before, we’re forgetting how to compromise and witnessing our disagreements escalate to outrageous levels. What people need is access to moderate political organizations that welcome and celebrate thoughtfulness and reason.
To address such angry and divided behavior, we must ask ourselves:
How and why do we act out? Is it necessary for our own good or the greater good?
What common goals can we unite around and find broad support for?
How can we find commonality with moderate politics, allowing us to move forward and achieve vital societal goals?
Our Philosophy
At Staunch Moderates, we believe in addressing acquaintances and strangers alike from a perspective of thoughtful moderation, as opposed to selfish extremism. We respect and appreciate individuals who fall under a moderate political definition—making us the ideal organization for people who feel that their moderate leanings prohibit them from joining any of the modern political parties. Our moderate centrist members take the time to look at issues from every side before coming to a conclusion. Unlike other political organizations, we strive never to place a party before our country.
